SAMSUNG A51 Price in Nepal | Almost your flagship phone?
Samsung A51, the Samsung ‘A’ series phones has been some of the best in their lineups. With a good chip set, great camera, good battery and a mid-range price for a phone such as this, should you be interested in this device? Let’s find out!
The build is a familiar one if you have used this Samsung lineup prior to this or seen it at the very least. It almost looks like a flagship phone, only that its body is made from plastic, probably to cut costs. The phone itself is very slim and feels light in hand. Instead of a notch or other funky method for the front camera Samsung opted for a punch-hole camera in the front. For those new to this type of screen at the front, it can be distracting but you probably won’t notice it after a while of use. Speaking of the screen, it’s a 6.5’’ super AMOLED 1080p display with an aspect ratio of 20:9.
Watching movies or any other kind of content consumption is great on the phone. The sound is one of the downsides of this phone, not because it’s not particularly loud or clear, its fault being a mono-speaker and not a stereo sound. We do have good news on the sound department, there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack! And its sounds great with a good set of audio jack. It also has a under display fingerprint reader which is accurate but just not the fastest.
The camera setup for the phone is unique for this price point. It has a quad-camera setup, one main 48MP, other one 12MP and a 5MP macro lens and a 5MP a depth sensor. The photos from the main camera are pretty good and should suffice most user basic needs although it does struggle in low light conditions. The macro camera lens is just okay and produces decent shots and the ultra wide camera(123°) produces great results. The selfie camera is a 32 MP lens and produces satisfying results. Even the bokeh mode it has is pretty good on both the sides. The front camera also has 4k recording which is rare feature on its own. Overall, the camera is pretty good and most users will be satisfied with what these cameras produce. It runs on the Samsung One UI2 on top of android 10 and will receive security updates for 2 years or so like all other Samsung phones.

Although it’s a great phone with good specs and performance you can get better performance at this price point which is not to say it cannot handle anything thrown at it very well, it does, it definitely handles anything you throw at it like a champ. The recording is great and produces excellent results although it does lack stability. With a brand name like Samsung, and a phone–like we already mentioned almost a flagship phone, you cannot go wrong with this phone, but there are cheaper phones available for which you get almost the same features as this one.
